Can it download every web video?
No. Common direct media, HLS and some DASH are supported. DRM, restricted and custom playback systems may not work.
What if no video is detected?
Play the video on its original page, then open the extension. If it is still unavailable, record a screen or window, or set a time range for the web player.
Where is the finished video saved?
Your browser saves the completed file to its download folder. Open browser download history to find its exact location.
Will closing this page stop the download?
Each download has its own website page and starts after connecting. Closing a page pauses only its task; others continue. Choose the same media on the source page to reopen and continue. Processing stays local and no download history is kept.
Does FetchMV upload my video?
No. Media requests, temporary data and output processing stay in your browser. The website only displays task status.
